Is this new? Trying to solve cracked by professor F. Custom python script…..running at 6-7B/s….no GPU and on a iMac

Spent probably the past year trying to make like the fastest script to recover a 12 word seed using a MacBook M2’s. I wrote metal shaders and tried it all. Rust, swift ect….and the algorithm and approach that seems the fastest runs the same on almost any machine. Unless you have a crazy amount of ram and uber processor. But is this fast doing 6-7 billion checks a second with no GPU and just an average processor? I’m not gonna share the scripts no matter what mostly because I have yet to see anything remarkably similar and the speeds I’m getting are really fast. Someone doesn’t believe me which I’m sure a lot of people won’t. Since 4 missing words if you know the positions of the other 8 would take less than an hour. Pretty much anyone in the world probably has the hardware that can do so. Adding a GPU potentially could be even faster however I haven’t had a real successful version that I’m proud of yet. Metal shaders are hard to work with. Swift it was working but not rust…..I can’t even get the same performance in rust and it’s supposed to be faster . I don’t know. I just want some other input and just let me know if anyone else has written something similar or I gotten the same speeds.
